Lincoln sophomores Jonathan Kuminga, Bretner Mutombo and Rafael Pinzon earned some early accolades Wednesday evening. Prep Hoops released their updated rankings for the 2021 class and all 3 members of the Bulldogs sophomore class saw their names included.
Leading the list at #3 was 6'9 wing Jonathan Kuminga. New to the Lincoln program, Kuminga is one of the most highly sought after players in the country thanks to his incredible frame, explosive-highlight reel athleticism and advanced skill set.
Following Kuminga at #32 is his fellow countryman Bretner Mutombo. The 6'11 big man returns for his second year as a Bulldog and looks to continue building on his incredible summer - one which saw him most recently ranked the #2 player in the state by Prep Hoops Georgia.
Finally checking in at #119 is the 6'5 floor general, Rafael Pinzon. Beginning his second season at Lincoln, Pinzon sat out the previous season due to a knee injury. However, prior to his injury Pinzon opened several eyes around the state and in his native Puerto Rico where he played two years up on the 16U Puerto Rican National team.
