The Bulldogs defeated Georgia Prep Tuesday night 92-50 to end the exhibition season. The win left Lincoln at 8-2 in the preseason. Like their regular season schedule, Lincoln spent their exhibition season going all over the country - starting off in Orlando, Florida and including a trip out west to Phoenix, Arizona before finishing off back in Atlanta.
During the trip to Orlando, the Dawgs got to experience some Florida fun in addition to working on their game and preparing for the season. The team spent the day at Universal's Islands of Adventures before competing in the All-American Jamboree. During the event, Lincoln faced off against some stiff competition, including Prep Circuit's 47th ranked team Potter's House, en route to a 3-1 weekend.
Lincoln then took their talents out west to participate in the Arizona Preps Showcase in Phoenix. While at the event, the Dawgs went 3-0 beating AZ Compass Prep, Just Hoops Prep and Hillcrest Prep. Going out to the west coast not only allowed most of the players to see a piece of the country they've never seen before, but also allowed them to be seen by a lot writers and coaches who normally wouldn't be able to see them as easily.
Lincoln kicks off their season Tuesday, November 6 against the defending GISA State Champion Furtah Prep at 7:30 PM at Summerour Middle School.
